NORFOLK, Va., Oct. 20, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Ciniva Web Agency has been awarded a contract to redesign the websites for the Port of Oakland and the Oakland International Airport, both in California. The sites are slated to launch in early 2016.
"We're excited to partner with one of the largest ports in the United States," said Steve Van Leeuwen, Ciniva's president. "At Ciniva, we've carved out a niche in the maritime industry."
The award follows nearly a year of branding and marketing work Ciniva has done for the Oakland Seaport, one of the Port of Oakland's three business lines. "A new web platform is a logical extension," Van Leeuwen said.
Since Ciniva moved in 2012 from a small space on Witchduck Road in Virginia Beach to a four-story office building on Granby Street in in the heart of downtown Norfolk, good things have followed. The company's client base has grown exponentially each year, as has the range of services. "We're a mid-size, full-service agency that creates positive results for brands," Van Leeuwen said. "We solve digital problems for clients, whether it's weak sales or lack of brand recognition."
Services include website development, digital advertising, brand consulting, video services, web hosting and more. "Ciniva's hallmark is that we're both artistic and analytic," Van Leeuwen said. "We know good design, and we have the technical chops to execute it. This project is a group effort, and the whole team is eager to get started."
