BOSTON, Sept. 28, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Cirelli's Marketplace announced today that it will be closing its Middleboro, MA location. A store closing sale will start tomorrow, Thursday, September 29th, 2011 and continue through the end of October or until all inventory is sold.
Cirelli began as a food distributor in 1946 when founder John Cirelli sold Italian food door-to-door before expanding to a wholesale business and a cash n' carry in Brockton, MA. Assets of the company were purchased by Perkins Paper Inc. in 2010.
"Our customers have been extremely loyal to The Cirelli Marketplace for many years," said Bob Crawford, COO of Perkins. "We hope they take advantage of the incredible savings and shop early to get the best selection of high quality items."
Cirelli's inventory of fresh produce, meats, poultry and frozen foods will all be discounted 10-30% off at the Middleboro location at 30 Commerce Way. The sale will also include beer, wine and spirits, as well as paper & packaging products.
