CITIA Appoints Joel Smernoff COO

NEW YORK, Feb. 26, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Joel Smernoff has been named Chief Operating Officer of publishing technology pioneer CITIA. Smernoff will manage the company's product, design, editorial, marketing, and technology teams. With a digital operations background that includes senior positions at Netscape and AOL, Smernoff boosts the company's ability to deliver world-class media experiences. High-profile releases coming in 2013 will feature a marquee roster of media partners including Penguin, HarperCollins, and a soon-to-be announced major musical artist.

Smernoff graduated from the University of Michigan with both a BSE in Naval Architecture and an MBA in Finance.
