Citrus Club Celebrates 40 Years With $4 Million Renovation and Reinvention

ORLANDO, Fla., Aug. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- The Citrus Club, a member of the ClubCorp family of clubs, announces its $4 million renovation. This renovation is part of the club's 40th anniversary celebration, which includes not only a physical redesign but also new programming, membership benefits, and services.

Construction in the club, which is occurring in phases, began in July and is scheduled to be completed by the end of January 2011. Plans include expanding and renovating the bar, including the addition of a casual dining area; renovation and enhancements to the lounge, dining, and meeting rooms; the addition of three new private dining rooms, a new member dining room, a big-screen multimedia room, and office-away-from-office spaces; and enhanced state-of-the-art technological conveniences.

With a goal of Building Relationships and Enriching Lives®, the club's reinvention offers members more opportunities to network, relax and have fun, and enjoy new dining features. The addition of the big-screen multimedia room will allow the club to offer a variety of entertaining social events, such as watch parties for sporting events, movies, and concerts, throughout the week.
