City of Cedar Rapids Chooses Fidelis Screening Solutions' RentPrep to Provide Tenant Background Checks

BUFFALO, N.Y., Oct. 3, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- RentPrep has partnered with the City of Cedar Rapids and their Police Department to provide tenant background checks as part of a program to help landlords make better rental decisions. The City program is called SAFE-CR, or Secure and Friendly Environment for Cedar Rapids, and requires Landlord Business Permit Holders to conduct a background check on all adults who newly occupy a rental unit. "We believe that by working with Fidelis Screening Solutions and their RentPrep solution we are empowering the landlords and property owners in our community to better screen prospective tenant's background and history.
