The main focus of this first report is to provide insight into the currently unanswered questions of who the payday loan borrowers are, how much they borrow, and what price they are paying when using Internet payday loans.
This report is the first of a planned series conducted by an Independent Research Team led by Rick Hackett, the former Assistant Director for Installment and Liquidity Lending Markets at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB).
