ClearPoint Diagnostic Laboratories Chosen as In-Network Provider for United Healthcare

LEWISVILLE, Texas, Aug. 16, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- ClearPoint Diagnostic Laboratories, which provides physicians with routine, anatomic and reference laboratory tests in a central Dallas Fort Worth location, is pleased to announce that it has become a United Healthcare Service Provider.

United Healthcare will now cover esoteric and general laboratory tests, performed locally by ClearPoint in its 130,000 square foot facility, one of the largest labs in the Dallas Fort Worth area.

Because the vast majority of laboratory tests will now be performed locally, patients covered by United Healthcare can now receive more timely test results from an in-network provider.  Over ninety percent of tests ordered by a physician are performed on site, often on the same day they are received.
