For Mike and Martin, their affinity for the outdoors and the community extends into their personal lives as well. Both are avid outdoorsmen. Martin is a novice vintner and has also recently added the title of beekeeper to his resume. "Bees provide so many benefits to the environment," he said. "The honey is just an added bonus." Mike is a regular volunteer at the Adaptive Ski School in the Sierras, a non-profit offering outdoor sports programs to children and adults with disabilities. "It's my way of giving back to the community," he said.
