Cleary Bros. Tree Division Soars to New Heights

SAN RAMON, Calif., April 29, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- This week Cleary Bros. Landscape, Inc. appointed Matthew Berry as its new Account Manager/Arborist. While Berry may be a new face in the Cleary Bros. family, he is no newcomer to the local area. He comes to the company with nearly sixteen years in tree care serving the greater Bay Area. 

Years prior to starting his new position, Berry, a graduate of Cal Poly-Pomona's agricultural program, was an admirer of Cleary Bros. and their work.  "When I heard about the opportunity to work with them, I didn't hesitate," he said. "I knew it was the right choice. There is a lot of depth and pride here and I'm glad to be a part of the team."

Mike and Martin Cleary, founders of Cleary Bros., were equally excited to bring Berry into the fold. "We had been looking for someone with a significant level of experience for quite some time," said Martin. Together, Berry and Cleary Bros. have nearly a half-century of combined industry experience. Berry will be joining a division that includes five other certified arborists currently on the Cleary Bros. team, all of whom belong to both the California Arborists Association and the International Society of Arboriculture.

Like many members of the Cleary Bros. staff, Berry's passion for the outdoors and the community reach beyond his professional life. He is a great believer in staying active and using his knowledge to improve the environment. "Giving back is important to me," he said. "We all have the potential to make a difference in our communities. Whether I'm on the job or at home, I do what I can to make the Bay Area a beautiful place to live and work." Berry enjoys kayaking, running, travel and gardening. He and his family live in the Oakley area.
