Cleveland Salon First in Area to Offer ETS Tan's New e3 Tanning Beds
CLEVELAND, Oct. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Entrepreneur Charles Slone started out in the tanning business in 1991 when he bought a failing combination tanning salon-clothing store in Cleveland. He replaced its existing tanning beds with ETS Tan beds, embarked on a new marketing campaign and quickly turned things around to make things profitable.
Soon, Slone added a second Four Seasons Tanning location. Today, he owns three Cleveland-area salons and recently finished a major remodeling of his Four Seasons Clifton salon at 11006 Clifton Blvd. The remodeling project included installing 12 new ETS Tan beds, including seven of the company's new e3 line of tanning beds.
"The key to running a successful tanning salon is having the right equipment," he said. "I started with ETS Tan and have remained a customer because ETS Tan is totally committed to my business and its success. We've cut no corners on quality and have invested in our customers' comfort and safety."
ETS Tan's e3 tanning beds caught Slone's eye at a tanning industry trade show earlier this year in Las Vegas. He knew their design, moving lighting and high-tech features would appeal to his customers. For Slone, he said, the performance, affordability and cost savings to his business were deciding factors. "e3 beds are the most attractive and advanced tanning beds on the market today," he said. "I couldn't be more pleased with my decision as they've transformed my Clifton salon into my most profitable salon by far."
Designed with energy-saving science, ergonomic design principles and eco-friendly lamp configurations in mind, the e3 tanning bed line includes four beds in the Ultimate Envy collection, two Epic beds and two Legend beds. e3 tanning beds feature illuminating mood-mode light effects that add movement, energy and ambiance to salons. Tanners receive a more precisely engineered, all-body tan in a more comfortable setting as each e3 bed features body-contoured acrylics created from pressure-point mapping studies.
For salon owners, e3 beds were designed to be more compact than competitor beds, providing space and cost savings for salon owners and enabling them to upgrade their equipment to e3 technology without having to redesign their floor plans. New electronic ballasts inside e3 beds reduce energy consumption that can lower owners' electricity costs by up to 30 percent and extend lamp life. e3 feature Wolff® System lamps that contain less mercury, making them more easily disposable than non-green lamps.
"Our customers love our e3 beds. We have had nothing but positive feedback about their look and performance," said Four Seasons Tanning manager Renee Adkins, who has been with the company for 12 years. "Some of our old customers even came back to us when they discovered we had e3 beds. They love the look and feel of the beds and the dark tans they receive from our e3 beds."
