CLIO Healthcare Awards Entry Deadline Extended to August 27th 2010

NEW YORK, Aug. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- The entry deadline has been extended for the second annual CLIO Healthcare Awards. All work appearing between January 1, 2009 and June 30, 2010 must be submitted to the CLIO Healthcare Awards no later than August 27, 2010.  In an effort to provide an innovative and eco-friendly entry process, once again the CLIO Healthcare Awards will receive submissions online only at www.CLIOHealthcare.com.  Professionals now have additional time to refine their entries, including international work, made eligible for the first time.

The CLIO Healthcare Awards will take place in New York City on November 12, 2010 and honor creative excellence and innovation in advertising and communications in the healthcare industry.  The entry system recognizes the differences in advertising between direct-to-professional and direct-to-consumer and covers the key areas of the healthcare industry, including pharmaceuticals, device and diagnostics, disease awareness, over-the-counter, and health services with an opportunity to submit for print, poster, billboard, direct mail, innovative, interactive, TV/cinema/digital, radio, strategic communications/public relations and integrated campaigns.
