Cloud 10 To Open Florida's Largest, Most Innovative Blow Dry Bar in Delray Beach. Then Another In Boca Raton.
BOCA RATON, Fla., Jan. 7, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Cloud 10 (http://cloud10florida.com) will open in mid-February the largest blow dry bar in Florida on the ground floor of Worthing Place at the corner of Atlantic and 2nd Avenues in Delray Beach. Shortly thereafter, Cloud 10 blows into Mizner Plaza in Boca Raton.
"There will be no cutting and no coloring," said Cloud 10 founder Jodi Dery. "Just wash, dry and beautify at both locations!"
Blow dry bars are the hottest trend in the beauty salon business, said Dery. They cater especially to busy ladies who relish the opportunity to have their hair washed, blown out and styled in less than an hour, at an affordable cost of $35-$40.
In addition to complimentary refreshments, Champagne and wine, Cloud 10 clients will be the first in Florida to be offered premium bottled SNO water derived from the pristine glaciers of Iceland.
Breaking new ground, Cloud 10 clients will have their hair shampooed in a Shiatsu massage chair. And, at each styling station, Cloud 10 will provide an iPad, enabling clients to individually choose what to read or watch. Each styling station also will have a novel charging console for charging all types of cell phones.
Further upping the ante, Cloud 10 will be the first blow dry bar in Florida to feature Icon Prive hair dryers, known as the "Rolls Royce of hair dryers." These unique hair dryers are currently available in only two other luxury hair salons in the country. At Cloud 10, there will be one at every styling seat.
Each Cloud 10 salon will be open daily from 7 AM. The unusually early opening hour will accommodate ladies who want a quick beautification treatment before going to work. The salons will stay open until 9pm, offering Cloud 10's pampered clients the opportunity to get dolled up any time of day, or in the early evening for a date night or other occasion.
A style menu will be offered featuring seven hairstyles, six makeup applications, along with a "create your own" look. Cloud 10 will also offer party services for bridal showers and other special events.
Clients will "float out, pumped, preened and prettier," Dery said , who went on a coast-to-coast field trip to check out 26 blow dry bars and salons in California, Nevada, Colorado, New York and Florida before developing the Cloud 10 concept. Her nationwide trek and extensive research resulted in a custom-designed blow dry styling station, which is now being built exclusively for Cloud 10 salons.
