CloudNav's sensor fusion solutions help enhance motion experience for users of world's leading virtual reality gaming treadmill
LAS VEGAS, Jan. 6, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- CloudNav (www.cloudnav.net), a leader in sensor fusion and indoor navigation solutions today announced successful integration of CloudNav's sensor fusion solutions into the world's leading virtual reality gaming treadmill, the Virtuix Omni.
CloudNav specializes in software products such as PerformanceFusion™ and TinyFusion™ that enhance a user's experience of motion in a wide array of motion-enabled consumer electronic devices. This is accomplished via patentable algorithms that calibrate inputs from consumer-grade sensors for motion, including gyroscopes, accelerometers and magnetometers, so that the output better represents true motion. CloudNav's offerings also work with pressure sensors, ambient light sensors and more.
The Virtuix Omni is a first-of-its-kind gaming system that takes virtual reality to the next level, allowing users to stand up, walk and run through virtual worlds with the natural use of their own feet, creating an unprecedented sense of immersion. The gaming system uses a custom development of CloudNav's PerformanceFusion and TinyFusion offerings. The Omni is available for demo at the 2015 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES).

PerformanceFusion adds significant patentable calibration technology, which will enable the most accurate Pedestrian Dead Reckoning (PDR) and indoor location solution, available later in 2015.
The Virtuix Omni is being demonstrated at booth #26008 located at Tech East, South Halls 1-2 (Ground Level). CloudNav is available at the same booth.
