CMAI Expands Global Business Advisory Service Offerings With Addition of Two Senior Executives and New Office in Bangkok

HOUSTON, Sept. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Chemical Market Associates, Inc. (CMAI) is pleased to announce the addition of two senior executives to its global Business Advisory Service (BAS).  CMAI is also expanding its Asia coverage with a new office located in Bangkok, Thailand.  Roger Green and John King, all formerly with Nexant, will join CMAI on September 21, 2010.  Roger joins an experienced team at CMAI's London office.  John is located in CMAI's new Bangkok office.

The additional consulting experience aligns with CMAI's Business Advisory Group strategy to expand its growing advisory consulting coverage and amplify its existing capabilities.  Specifically, CMAI will formalize its expertise on Green Chemicals and operational / process capabilities with the formation of two new practices: Renewables and Technology, to complement its existing portfolio of  Commercial, Transaction, Legal and Strategy practices.

Roger Green joins CMAI with over 25 years of industry experience, most recently at Nexant and Chem Systems, where he was Vice President responsible for chemicals consulting in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.  Roger's focus was on single client consulting and covered feasibility analysis, technical and commercial due diligence in support of Project Finance and strategic planning for companies and governments in the region.  He has a degree in Chemical Engineering from Nottingham Universtiy and started his career as a chemical engineer at John Brown E&C.  Roger will assume the role as Global Business Director – Commercial.

John King joins CMAI after a multi-faceted industry career, most recently with Nexant and Chem Systems, where he covered the Asia region for the last 14 years.  John has directed and managed numerous client engagements in such areas as corporate and business strategy, major investment decision support (including project financing and M&A), and in technology, market and business evaluations.  John has an MBA in Strategy from the London Business School and a BS in Chemical Engineering (Magna Cum Laude) from the University of Missouri.  John will assume the role as Managing Director-CMAI Thailand.
