CMC Consulting Group Acquired By Management Team In MBO

MUNICH and AMSTERDAM, April 2, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- CMC Consulting Group, a leading international healthcare strategy and Mergers & Acquisitions advisory firm, has been acquired by three of the leading directors of the Group (Benjamin Chambon, Ernst Elhorst and Gabriele Brambilla).  The management team acquired 100% of the business from the founders Dr. Claus and Dr. Gerhard Michelfelder through a Netherlands based holding and will sharpen the focus of the new firm on international strategy and cross border M&A advisory for its Pharma and Medtech clients.

As part of the transaction, CMC is pleased to announce the appointment of Benjamin Chambon as Chief Operating Officer of the Group and Ernst Elhorst as Chief Strategy Officer.  Nico Schmidt-Weidemann will become Managing Director of CMC's German operations.
