CHICAGO, Jan. 27, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- CNA Financial Corporation (NYSE: CNA) today announced the appointment of Jeff Zehr to vice president, Segment Underwriting, effective immediately. In this position, Jeff will expand his responsibilities to include leadership and governance for the Commercial Lines products for both the Financial Institutions and the Professional Services customer segments.

Jeff joined CNA in November 2012 as assistant vice president and underwriting segment leader for Commercial insurance.
Jeff has more than 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, including over 12 years of Financial Institution underwriting experience with Chubb Corp. During that time, he managed Specialty and Commercial portfolios and led Chubb's field organization for the Western Territory for Financial Institutions specialty products.
Jeff holds a bachelor of arts in business administration and political science from Illinois Wesleyan University and a MBA from DePaul University's Kellstadt Graduate School of Business.
