FPT Industrial designs, develops, manufactures and offers a range of propulsion and transmission systems and axles for on- and off-road applications, as well as engines for marine application and power generation. WCM is one of the global manufacturing industry's highest standards for the integrated management of manufacturing plants and processes. It is a system based on continuous improvement, designed to eliminate waste and loss from the production process by identifying objectives such as zero injuries, zero defects, zero breakdowns and zero waste.
The Turin plant follows in the footsteps of its sister sites: the driveline plant, also based in Turin, Italy and engine plants in Bourbon Lancy, France and Foggia, Italy. The facility is specialized in the production of NEF, F5 and Vector series engines and employs a workforce of over 1,000 people.
