QUEBEC CITY, May 5 /PRNewswire/ - CO2 Solution Inc. (TSXV: CST) announced today that the company will make a joint presentation with Codexis, Inc. (Nasdaq: CDXS) on recent developments related to their carbon capture technology program to reduce carbon pollution from coal-fired power plants and other large industrial sources of CO2 emissions.
The presentation is being made at the 2011 BIO World Congress on Industrial Biotechnology & Bioprocessing in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on May 9 at 8:45 a.m. Eastern Time. Presenting for CO2 Solution and Codexis will be Jonathan Carley, Vice-President, Business Development and Christopher Savile, Ph.D., Staff Scientist, respectively. In January 2011 CO2 Solution announced the extension of the carbon capture Joint Development Agreement with Codexis. Program results to date have shown that the combined CO2 Solution / Codexis proprietary technologies have the potential to significantly lower the cost barrier associated with conventional technologies to capture carbon dioxide (CO2) from power and industrial effluent gases.
At the same conference, the following day, May 10that 12 noon, Glenn Kelly, President & CEO of CO2 Solution Inc. will present an overview of CO2 Solution to investment community members attending the conference.
As a prelude to the conference, Mr. Kelly will be appearing on the Canal Argent morning program, En Affaires hosted by François Gagnon on Friday May 6th at 10:10 am to discuss CO2 Solution and the Bio World Conference.
