Coastal Habitat For Humanity Thanks Supporters Of Superstorm Sandy Rebuild, Restore Efforts

SPRING LAKE HEIGHTS, N.J., April 15, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Coastal Habitat for Humanity announced today that its upcoming Third Annual "Play to Build" fundraising event will honor both Jersey Shore residents impacted by Superstorm Sandy and the supporters of the organization's efforts to rebuild, repair and restore.

"In an average year, this is the season our building efforts kick in to high gear," said Maureen Mulligan, executive director, Coastal Habitat.  "As I toured the devastation Sandy left our community last November, I realized Coastal Habitat's mission and commitment to the Jersey Shore had grown ten-fold.  Today, as we continue our long-term recovery strategy to rebuild and repair communities from Manasquan to Allenhurst, I would like to deeply thank our generous supporters.  It is with their generosity that our Neighborhood Revitalization Initiative teams will rebuild property and hopefully lives."

Coastal Habitat for Humanity wishes to acknowledge support from the State of New Jersey Department of Community Affairs, City of Asbury Park and Habitat for Humanity International.
