Coastal Uncorked Food, Wine and Spirits Festival Announces Schedule Of Events For 2014
New Craft Beer Event "Brews 'N The Blvd." to Debut and Popular Wine Tasting Trolley Tour to Return
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C., May 21, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Representatives for The Myrtle Beach Area Hospitality Association and Coastal Uncorked Food, Wine and Spirits Festival announced today the schedule of events for the 2014 festival. June 2-8, 2014 will mark the fourth annual festival.
The delicious food-and-drink-filled week is jam packed with events including the Myrtle Beach Restaurant Week; Festival-favorite, the Myrtle Beach Tasting Trolley Tour; outdoor entertainment at the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and Promenade; themed dinners around town; an all new craft beer event, Brews 'N The Blvd. on Ocean Boulevard; a plethora of specialty wines and Oceanfront Grand Tasting Tent. - Brews 'N the Blvd. Craft Beer Event:
With the increasing popularity of local and unique craft beers brewing across the country, Coastal Uncorked is introducing the inaugural Brews 'N the Boulevard craft beer event. Beer enthusiasts will sample some of the top craft beers from all along the east coast, purchase food from local vendors, and enjoy live southern rock and modern country music by local favorite, The Revival.
The event will take place on Friday, June 6, from 5-9 p.m. at Plyler Park, located at the oceanfront in downtown Myrtle Beach. Pre-sale tickets are $15.00 or 2 for $25.00 and can be purchased online at Event Brite. Day of event tickets are $25.00 each.
- Myrtle Beach Wine Tasting Trolley Tour:
As a Coastal Uncorked fan-favorite, the Wine Tasting Trolley Tour is back and better than ever. This year's tasting trolley will provide free parking at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center and feature stops at eight different locations along the coast. Each stop will include a themed complimentary adult beverage and food pairing. When the tour arrives the Grand Tasting Tent guests will be given a souvenir glass and can sample wine from some of the top wineries in the country.
The tasting trolley including the Grand Tasting Tent takes place on June 7 from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. Tickets start at $35.00. The tasting trolley stops and themes are as follows:

Trolley ticketholders will enjoy the ocean view while listening to live entertainment and sampling food, wine and spirits on Saturday, June 7 from 11 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. This event will be located on Ocean Boulevard between 8th and 9th Avenues North.
- Myrtle Beach Restaurant Week Themed Dinners:
During the Coastal Uncorked Restaurant Week celebration, several of the Grand Strand's most mouth-watering restaurants will offer specialty priced prix fixe menus and some will be hosting themed dinners.
