Collision Hub to Provide Live Streaming for Sessions at URG & Pinnacle Training Conference
CENTENNIAL, Colo., April 1, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Social media is changing everything else in our lives; why not auto collision repairs too? The United Recyclers Group has announced a new and groundbreaking collaboration with Collision Hub (Benton, AR) that will provide live streaming of a number of key sessions at the upcoming URG & Pinnacle Training Conference, held April 14-17, 2011 in Denver. This partnership will pair up the URG annual conference - widely recognized as the auto recycling industry's most prestigious event – with Collision Hub, the premiere networking site for the collision repair industry. Shown live on the URG website (www.u-r-g.com) and the Collision Hub website (www.collisionhub.com), Facebook, YouTube and LinkedIn pages, the selected sessions will be available to a global network of viewers like never before.
"I am very excited to host Collision Hub at our conference this year," says Michelle Alexander, executive director of URG. "They are going to be providing live streaming video coverage of two of our keynote sessions along with two other major breakout sessions. This is the first time that Collision Hub has ever covered an event for the auto recycling industry, and we expect that this will create new and positive exposure for the auto recycling industry to other key segments of the auto repair and collision industries."
"URG represents the best of the auto recycling industry", says Kristen Felder, CEO of Collision Hub. "We'll have a crew of four covering the URG Conference because there are going to be so many great and important things happening there. The collision industry doesn't often get to see the auto recycling industry's point of view, and we want to help change that. Our coverage will expose URG and some of their top members to a much larger audience."
Alexander adds that "We hope that the professionalism and high standards of URG members is evident to anyone viewing the sessions. We are a very green, environmentally-friendly partner for the collision and repair industry, with the capability to overnight high quality parts to our customers at very reasonable prices. This might come as a surprise to some who have been holding on to old and inaccurate stereotypes about salvaged OEM vehicle parts. Other than attending yourself, there isn't a better way to get this message out than to live stream our sessions out to the world, and let some of our leading members tell their impressive stories and share their secrets of success."
Keynote sessions that will be live streamed (on Mountain Daylight Savings Time) include:
- Friday, April 15, 8:30 – 9:50 am, Body Shop Panel
- Saturday, April 16, 8:00 – 9:00 am, Information Services Panel
Conference breakout sessions that will be live streamed (on Mountain Daylight Savings Time) include:
- Friday, April 15, 10:00 – 10:50 am, Dramatically Reducing Part Returns With Mitchell Fast Photo System (Mitchell)
- Saturday, April 16, 11:00 – 11:50 am, Body Shop Terminology 101 – (Dave Damon, CCC)
- Saturday, April 16, 1:40 – 2:30 pm, Credit Card Fraud Protection
Also in the works are plans for another 8-10 breakout sessions to be covered with 'members only' access provided after the URG & Pinnacle Training Conference is completed.
