Colonial Williamsburg Offers Virginia Residents and Seniors Discount
WILLIAMSBURG, Va., Sept. 4, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Colonial Williamsburg invites Virginia residents and those over 50 who live anywhere in the nation to pay for a day and receive unlimited admission to the Revolutionary City and the Art Museums of Colonial Williamsburg through the end of 2012.
This limited-time offer gives Virginia residents and anyone over 50 the opportunity to experience Colonial Williamsburg's seasonal offerings again and again. This special pass can be purchased for $39.95 for adults and $20.95 for children ages six - 12 by Oct. 31.
Revolutionary City® programs tell the story of the 18th-century capital on the eve of the American Revolution. New exhibitions open this fall in the Art Museums of Colonial Williamsburg including "American Folk Portraits" opens Saturday, Sept. 29 and "Changing Keys: Keyboard Instruments for America, 1700-1830" opens Nov. 22.
Colonial Williamsburg lights up the holiday season, which officially begins Nov. 23. Guests enjoy Grand Illumination Dec. 2 with spectacular fireworks. Guests to the Art Museums of Colonial Williamsburg can admire a 16-foot tree in the museum central court surrounded by glittering silver and gold stars. The tree features homemade ornaments made by generations of guests, employees and volunteers.
The pass includes:

- Tours of the Governor's Palace, Capitol, R. Charlton's Coffeehouse and Great Hopes Plantation;
