Colorful Establishes Overseas Partnership With Newegg
TAIPEI, June 6, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Colorful held a strategic signing ceremony, entitled "Expansion-New Path," during Computex, one of the world's top three IT exhibitions, on June 6. The signing will initiate a partnership between Colorful and Newegg, the world's largest independent IT e-commerce retailer, whereby the two firms undertake a foray into the North American market.
Colorful Group was established in 1995. Since 2000, the firm has focused on the research and development and sales of its own brand of graphics card and motherboard. Colorful Group now has a complete product line, including Segotep-branded power supply, Colorfire-branded AMD and graphics card and Colorfly-branded digital consumer electronics. Colorful has held the number one spot for the 11th consecutive year in terms of sales of independent graphics cards. One in four PCs with an independent graphics card in mainland China is equipped with a Colorful-branded graphics card.
Colorful's graphics card division launched the iGame for its top tier players in 2008. iGame comes in three editions: Fire Warrior, Ice Knight and Kudan, each edition catering to different player groups. iGame represents the ultimate in expectations for hardware equipment among players and was the best-selling independent graphics card in mainland China in 2013. The firm reached an agreement with Newegg, the largest IT e-commerce retailer in North America, this year, whereby Colorful's products will be sold via Newegg. The agreement helps Colorful expand into the competitive North America market.
