NEW YORK, July 22, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Colosa, the developer of the ProcessMaker open source business process management (BPM) and workflow software (www.processmaker.com) announced today the release of the much anticipated Version 3.0 of its industry leading BPM and Workflow platform.  The new version is available for immediate download from the ProcessMaker website and is also available as a hosted solution in the ProcessMaker Cloud.

ProcessMaker 3.0 includes a number of innovative new features designed to improve functionality and enhance the user experience. With the release of ProcessMaker 3.0 users will find the following exciting new features: 

  1. A native responsive UI HTML 5 Form Designer with multi-column drag and drop designing
  2. A new jquery BPMN 2.0 process designer with support for undo, redo, zoom, multi-object grab and drag, and much more
  3. A powerful new REST API which will give developers full control over all functions in both the designer and the run-time engine
  4. Support for additional new BPMN 2.0 elements such as message and timer start events, and sub-process call activities among others
