SAN MATEO, Calif., Nov. 8, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, SuccessFactors, Inc. (Nasdaq: SFSF) announced that Columbia Sportswear, a leading innovator in the active outdoor apparel, footwear, accessories and equipment markets, has purchased three additional modules of the SuccessFactors Business Execution (BizX) Suite.
"SuccessFactors Business Execution Suite allows us to communicate our strategies across all levels of our global organization," said Susan Popp, vice president of human resources, Columbia Sportswear. "We've mapped our company strategy across the global workforce and identified job competencies at all position levels. SuccessFactors helps us build out our performance goals and see how our company is performing. Aligning our business strategies across the globe positively impacts our company's execution."
In December 2009, Columbia Sportswear chose SuccessFactors for their best-in-breed solutions for Performance Management, Goal Management and Succession Management for 3,000 global employees. A $1.24 billion company in 2009 on its way to more than $1.4 billion in 2010, Columbia Sportswear deployed SuccessFactors in just three months, allowing them to quickly impact the ability to align their global business strategy and to identify strategic job competencies.
Less than six months after deployment, Columbia chose to increase its investment in SuccessFactors, adding several additional modules from the SuccessFactors BizX Suite to its existing implementation. These purchases were focused on aligning Columbia's pay-for-performance culture with global compensation planning. Columbia added 3,000 seats of SuccessFactors' 360 Multi-Rater and Employee Survey, as well as 2,000 seats of Compensation Management and support for four additional languages.
"We are thrilled to be working with globe-spanning companies like Columbia Sportswear," said Robert Block, vice president of professional services, SuccessFactors. "Seeing every employee in such a vast organization use our software to streamline execution is truly inspiring and showcases SuccessFactors' unique capabilities."
