Comanche Nation Entertainment is Proud to Announce Comanche Boy's Knockout Night
LAWTON, Okla., March 22, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The Comanche Nation Casino in Lawton, Oklahoma is pleased to present world-class boxing professional, George Tahdooahnippah (34-2-3), known as "Comanche Boy" on April 8, 2016. His opponent will be Maxell Taylor (18-10-1) of Baltimore, Maryland. Fight attendees will also be able to watch a special co-feature bout, Local MMA fighter Chad Leonhardt (9-4) of Lawton, OK will face Levi Queen (7-3) from Oklahoma City. On Comanche Boy's official site he is quoted as saying, "I am eager to get back in the ring. I will not be denied victory. I will do the rest April 8!"

Tickets are on sale now and loyal fans of Comanche Boy should plan to get tickets early while they last. Prices are $25 for general admission. They will be $30 at the door on the day of the event. Tickets can be purchased in person at the Player's Club in the Comanche Nation Casino, by phone by calling (580) 354-2000 or online by visiting Comanche Nation's Comanche Boy Hometown Throwdown page on Comanche Nation Casino's website. Doors will open at 6 PM with the first bell at 7:30 PM. Guests must be 18 years or older to attend.

"The Comanche Boy" George Tahdooahnippah
"The Comanche Boy" George Tahdooahnippah grew up the southern plains of Oklahoma. Tahdooahnippah is of Comanche and Choctaw descent and a proud enrolled member of the Comanche Nation. Tahdooahnippah began his competitive competition in baseball, football and wrestling. He excelled in wrestling and earned the honors of a Cadet Greco-Roman All-American, placing 7th in the United States. He won many wrestling titles, including while on a tour to Japan, representing Oklahoma as an Oklahoma All-Star. His achievements landed him a full wrestling scholarship at Delaware State University. He has since gone on to earn his Bachelor of Business Administration degree.
At the age of 23, Tahdooahnippah turned his career into amateur kickboxing. He won the North Texas Light Heavyweight title and was the Runner-Up at the 2002 Sansho-Kickboxing World Championships. Tahdooahnippah returned back to Lawton, Oklahoma to fight in the Original Toughman competition, winning the light heavyweight championship. Tahdooahnippah went on to win another consecutive Original Toughman competition and qualified to fight in the 2003 Original Toughman Sweet 16 World Championship Finals. In April 2004, at the age of 25, Tahdooahnippah had his first professional boxing fight and won by TKO in the first round. He has been featured three times on ESPN2's Friday Night Fights. Team Comanche Boy has now teamed up with new trainer, Jeff Mayweather, along with old time trainer, David Vaughn.
