CombineNet Introduces ASAP 4.3: Improves Buyer Productivity with New Template Management and Configuration Tools, Redesigned User Interface
PITTSBURGH, March 15 /PRNewswire/ -- CombineNet announced today the release of version 4.3 of its Advanced Sourcing Application Platform (ASAP), which includes a number of new features and other enhancements that increase buyer productivity and efficiency and make it easier for users to create, configure and manage advanced sourcing events.
"'More, more easily, more often' is the mantra of our customer-focused product strategy, and this release provides our customers with another series of tools to help their buyers leverage the power of ASAP across any spend category," said Rich Wilson, CombineNet President and COO.
The most significant new feature introduced in ASAP 4.3 is Template Management, which provides a number of tools that enable buyers to easily create and modify RFx Templates that can be reused in future sourcing events or shared with other buyers across their organization. With Template Management, buyers can create RFx Templates from existing sourcing events; reconfigure templates to modify item, supplier and bid collection fields, adjust cost models for bid analysis, configure analytics reports, and make other changes to template settings; and start new sourcing events from templates with the click of a button.
The most visible upgrade in ASAP 4.3 is a redesigned User Interface that provides user-friendly navigation for both buyers and suppliers. Additional enhancements include new capabilities for managing Q&A communications between buyers and suppliers, streamlining data management for uploading and downloading item, supplier and historical data, and providing efficiency improvements for supplier bidding activities.
