SUNNYVALE, Calif., Oct. 22, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- An innovator in flash storage, Fixstars Solutions, Inc. is going to Hollywood to attend Society of Motion Picture & Television Engineers (SMPTE) 2015 Annual Conference from October 26th to 29th.  

Earlier this month, Fixstars launched the IRIS-DRIVE, a 2 Terabyte professional flash storage device tailored for 4K recording. As the media and entertainment industry moves towards Ultra-HD, 4K/8K video-shooting is becoming the standard format.
