MINNEAPOLIS, April 21, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Today the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethic (SCCE) announced its membership has grown to 5,000 members. It is apparent from the phenomenal growth SCCE is achieving that compliance and ethics is among the fastest growing professions both inside and outside the United States.
"This is a very significant milestone for compliance and ethics professionals. Many long doubted whether it was truly a profession of its own. It's now clear that it very much stands on its own," said SCCE Chief Executive Officer Roy Snell.
This remarkable growth of the compliance and ethics profession in the US and internationally speaks directly to the business community's recognition that compliance programs bring considerable value to their organizations.
"Compliance is integral to business now, no matter where an organization operates," said Snell.
Combined with the Health Care Compliance Association, SCCE's sister organization, membership has now grown beyond 15,000 members.
