CompuGroup Medical USA Announces New Senior Vice President and Chief Executive Officer Norbert Fischl and Chief Operating Officer Kent Brostrom

BOSTON, July 16, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- CompuGroup Medical (CGM), one of the leading eHealth companies in the world, has announced changes to the executive management team in North America and the United States. As communicated in the Q1 2013 financial report in early May, Norbert Fischl had been appointed Senior Vice President North America. After completing the transition, he will now act as the new CEO of CGM USA, taking over all responsibilities formerly handled by CEO, Henrik Cruger. In addition, Kent Brostrom will join CGM USA as Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Brostrom will report directly to Mr. Fischl and will be responsible for the daily operations of the company.

Prior to their respective appointments, both Mr. Fischl and Mr. Brostrom worked for CGM in Northern Europe. The company has been widely successful in this region, earning up to 70 percent market share. The new leadership comes into effect at an opportune time when CGM USA is working on enhancing and rebranding its strategic products to achieve significant growth in the US market.

Mr. Brostrom has had extensive experience in his role as Country Manager for Sweden, improving competitiveness on multiple strategic and operational fronts for CGM since 2011. He has an entrepreneurial spirit, practices a hands-on approach and holds the technical knowledge necessary to drive operational excellence and growth.
