Conestoga Capital Advisors LLC Adds Peter J. Niedland, CFA, As Micro-Cap Portfolio Manager

RADNOR, Pa., July 10, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Conestoga Capital Advisors announces the addition of Peter J. Niedland, CFA as a Portfolio Manager/Analyst for Micro-Cap Equities, effective Monday, July 2nd.  Mr. Niedland will serve as Portfolio Manager for the firm's newly launched Micro-Cap strategy, which will focus on stocks with market capitalizations between $25 Million and $500 Million.  In addition, Mr. Niedland will support the Small Cap team as a research analyst, working with lead portfolio managers William C. Martindale, Jr. and Robert M. Mitchell.

Mr. Niedland joins Conestoga after prior portfolio management and analyst roles with Emerald Advisors, NS Investment Partners, Davidson Capital Management, and Pilgrim Baxter, manager of the PBHG Funds.  Throughout his career, Mr. Niedland has managed growth equities, with a primary expertise in the management of portfolios in small and micro cap equities for mutual fund and institutional clients.
