On April 15, 2014, Ford Motor Co. (Ford) reported strong sales start in Europe in 2014 in its sales results of Europe for March 2014 and Q1 2014. The Company informed sales growth in Europe of 12% YoY in March 2014 and 11% YoY in Q1 2014. This marks the 10th consecutive month and fourth successive quarter of YoY sales gains. On April 10, 2014, Toyota Motor Corp. (Toyota) announced that it is developing a series of newly-developed, highly fuel-efficient engines that achieve outstanding thermal efficiency.
