Confie Acquires Insurance Operations of TDECU, Expanding Credit Union Partnerships into Texas

Acquisition expands Confie's credit union insurance business and brings TDECU Insurance Agency into InsureOne.

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif., Nov. 5, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Confie, the largest personal lines insurance distribution company in the United States, today announced the acquisition of the insurance operations of TDECU (Texas Dow Employees Credit Union), one of the largest credit unions in Texas.

As part of the transaction, Confie has entered into a long-term service agreement with TDECU to continue providing insurance solutions to the credit union's more than 400,000 members. TDECU Insurance Agency, LLC, the credit union's retail insurance arm, offers a range of personal insurance products, including auto, home, renters, life, and health insurance.

The 34 employees who supported TDECU's insurance operations will join InsureOne's credit union division, providing continuity for TDECU members while gaining access to Confie's broader carrier relationships, technology, and insurance capabilities.
