Connected by TCP® Now Available in BR30 and PAR38

AURORA, Ohio, Aug. 26, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Technical Consumer Products, Inc. (TCP), a leader in energy-efficient lighting innovations, today announced the availability of Connected by TCP® in BR30 and PAR38 bulb shapes. With the addition of these new energy-efficient lighting products, home and business owners can utilize Connected by TCP's Wi-Fi-enabled LED bulbs in recessed and outdoor lighting fixtures.

Connected by TCP utilizes LED technology, operates on a Wi-Fi network and can be controlled by any iOS or Android-enabled device, allowing instant control of any home or business lighting system. By linking to a home's existing Wi-Fi network, users can easily program an entire house with Connected LED bulbs to turn on and off when arriving at or leaving the house, or dim bulbs to create a desired ambiance. Connected by TCP, powered by Greenwave System's award-winning cloud-based Home2Cloud platform, also enables users to create a Smart Control routine using free app software to automate the bulbs to personalized settings that manage their lighting throughout the day. Users can program their individual smart routine for any time period and may be activated while at home and away.

The Connected by TCP PAR38 LED floodlight kit includes two 17-Watt (90-Watt equivalent) soft white LED PAR38 flood light bulbs and one gateway. The BR30 Connected LED 10-Watt (64-Watt equivalent) bulb is available in soft white and emits 700 lumens.

BR30 downlight bulbs are used for in-ceiling or recessed lighting fixtures. The bulbs are flared and more focused, which casts light predominately from the front of the bulb. PAR38 bulbs can be used for indoor and outdoor lighting fixtures, including flood and spotlight applications.
