Connecticut Women's Conference to Feature Workshops and Panels to Inspire Personal Growth, Self Discovery

SOUTH WINDSOR, Conn., March 1, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The Connecticut Women's Alliance (CWA), an organization dedicated to the advancement of women and girls through educational programming and events, will hold The Connecticut Women's Conference on Thursday, March 24, 2011 at the Farmington Marriot.
Designed to unite women from all walks of life, the Connecticut Women's Conference will include speakers, panels, workshops, exhibitors and book signings meant to inspire women to courageously pursue their true purpose.
The day-long event will feature a luncheon keynote by best-selling author, Joan Anderson. Anderson has authored several best-selling books, including A Year By the Sea, and The Second Journey- The Road Back.
Among the panels at the Conference, will be the featured discussion panel, "Courage and Conviction: Taking the Leap," in which panelists will discuss their experiences as women taking the leap and leading their lives with conviction.
Workshop sessions include: Five Negotiation Mistakes Women Make and How to Avoid Them; The Authentic Marketing and Mindset Secrets of Six-Figure and Seven-Figure Entrepreneurial Women; Personalities Unlocked: Power Up Your Connections!; Woman in Philanthropy: A Panel Discussion; Women and Vitality: A Panel Discussion; Style Yourself with Confidence; Dreams are Only the Beginning: Becoming Who You Were Meant To Be; Women are Leaders.
The conference will also feature Mary Jones as Emcee, the presentation of The Connecticut Women's Alliance's Woman of Distinction Award and unveil the newly transformed Mary Jones Believe Team Make-Over contest winner.

The Connecticut Women's Conference will take place on March 24, 2011 from 7:30a.m.-5p.m. at the Farmington Marriott.
