Constellation Wines U.S. Announces New Vice President of Luxury Wines

SAN FRANCISCO, Aug. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Constellation Wines U.S., the leading premium wine company in the U.S., announced today the addition of the newly created position of vice president of luxury wines and a further increase in resources towards its fast-growing luxury wine business. The addition of this role is a result of the company's increased focus on its luxury wines and properties to further enhance their growth prospects. Constellation's powerful portfolio of brands include, Robert Mondavi Winery, Franciscan Estate, Simi, Kim Crawford, Wild Horse, Mount Veeder Winery and many other trusted quality wines.  

In addition, a dedicated luxury wine sales team has been created to focus on further strengthening Constellation's role in the luxury wine community and responding to the needs of Constellation's consumers.

Pierre Noique, an accomplished luxury wine professional with 15 years of sales and brand building experience, has accepted the new position.  He will be based in the Constellation Wines U.S. San Francisco office and will report to Marty Birkel, President of Sales, Constellation Wines U.S.  

Pierre joins Constellation from nine years at Niebaum~Coppola/Rubicon Estate in Rutherford where he last served as Vice-President, National Sales & Marketing. Previously he was Director of Sales, Western Division, and prior to that the Midwest Regional Manager.

Pierre previously held roles as the Midwest Regional Manager for 12 States at Martin Sinkoff Wines in Chicago, and as the area Export Sales Manager at Vignerons du Val D'Obrieu in Narbonne, France a leading French wine company specialized in private labels. He received a BA degree from the University of Montpellier III, in Montpellier France, and an MBA from E.S.C. Toulouse Graduate School of Business, in Toulouse France.
