Contractor's Job List Growth Shows Encouraging Signs for Economy

Company President and CEO Beverly Raphael said the company, which has built more than 1,500 projects in 25 states, is heading into the second half of 2011 with more than a dozen new restaurants, numerous retail and bank projects and upcoming work for two iconic hotels in Miami-Dade's historic South Beach already on the books.

"We've notched some 36 projects for the first half of the year, and business development looks bright for the balance of 2011," said Ms. Raphael, who was recently inducted into the Nova Southeastern University Huizenga Business School's Entrepreneur Hall of Fame.  "We are cautiously optimistic, but the signs are that restaurants, banks, retailers and hoteliers are moving forward with expansion, whether it be new construction or renovation."
