Conversation Announces Rebrand, Launch of 'The New Traditional Agency' Positioning
Branding effort includes new site, social communications push, and renovations for expanding New York Headquarters
NEW YORK, April 6, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Leading creative agency, Conversation, announced today the completion of its rebrand efforts and the launch of "The New Traditional Agency" positioning. The full-service ad shop continued its growth from 2010 in the first quarter of 2011 making several key hires and promoting internal team members to leadership roles within the organization.
"We set out on a strategic path to bridge traditional advertising services and media with emerging and non-traditional forms of communication," said Agency Founder Frank O'Brien. "The industry is beginning to come full circle and align with this way of thinking. The New Traditional Agency position speaks to our viewpoint, services, offering, structure and process."
In the past year Conversation became known as an "award-winning digital hot shop" and "creative agency to watch," but has now grown out strategy and media services, advising clients on how to appropriately utilize emerging forms of media - such as social and mobile - within traditional creative and media strategies.
With the announcement comes two major shifts for the agency - the creation of Business Operations and Production divisions. Mimi Lin will shift from Director of Special Projects to Director of Business Operations, with a focus of creating synergy between Brand Development and Client Services teams. Eric Drumm has been promoted from the Client Services team to Production Supervisor, ensuring cohesive end-to-end execution of creative campaigns, design services, and development projects.
Conversation underwent a soft launch of the new branding in mid-March. The industry response was highly positive and the agency has seen spikes in site traffic and social media activity. "We continue to impress our clients and the industry with our work," David Orellana, Lead Designer, said. "Even though this time the work was internal, we held ourselves to the same high standards we use when producing work for our clients. The design is sleek and ultra-modern - something we feel accurately emulates our agency's style, but also pays homage to our history."
