Cooper Hunting Industries, Inc. Announces Merger Vote Approved
COTTAGE GROVE, Tenn., March 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Cooper Hunting Industries, Inc. (Pink Sheets: SHAR), a specialty retailer catering to outdoor and hunting enthusiasts is pleased to announce the Sharp shareholder meeting for merger between Cooper and Sharp has passed.
Shareholders of Sharp Holding Corp. held a special meeting last Wednesday, March 10, 2010 to approve a definitive merger of the two companies. The vote passed with over 43,000,000 shares voting in favor of the merger. This represents 55.43% of the Sharp shares. The six articles voted on in the meeting included: the 100/1 reverse split of all Sharp stock; warrants issued to Sharp shareholders allowing them the ability to regain their original position; increase shares authorized to 130,000,000; approve the acquisition of Cooper's 50,000,000 shares of stock; change the name to Cooper Holding Corp.; and to issue shares of stock to agents of the corporation as compensation for services rendered.
