ALLENTOWN, Pa., Jan. 30, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Coordinated Health, the region's leading specialty surgical hospital network, today announced the appointment of healthcare innovator Greg Flanagan as its Chief Information Officer (CIO). Flanagan's responsibilities include the integration of all Electronic Health Records across CH's full continuum of care, business intelligence and analytics, and applications and digital transformation for the company's 100+ physicians and 1,200 employees across 17 locations in eastern Pennsylvania and western New Jersey.
Flanagan joins Coordinated Health from Advancing Practitioners (AP), a Tennessee-based health services company where he served as Chief Operating Officer. A 20-year veteran of the healthcare industry, he was responsible for all executive management of AP's non-clinical functions.

Since earning a master's degree in hospital administration from Duke University, Flanagan has served in several healthcare provider organizations including as CIO of APS Healthcare in New York and RegionalCare Hospital Partners in Tennessee. He led considerable IT transformation efforts by creating business intelligence and analytics platforms and directly managed large-scale system development and conversions.
