NEW YORK, June 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Copia Interactive (thecopia.com), a DMC Worldwide company and the developer of Copia social eReading and content delivery platform, is being highlighted at the Microsoft Expression Studio 4 launch at Internet Week New York.   Copia is the first social eReading platform to enter the growing eReader marketplace.

Copia's development partner, VML, a Forrester-recognized interactive marketing agency and development shop, is working with Expression Studio 4 to expand Copia's groundbreaking services to PC-based tablets and "pad" environments.

"Expression Studio 4 allows Copia's developers to create the rich, immersive and engaging experience that tablet and 'pad' users expect, while providing a clear path to additional Microsoft-based embedded solutions such as Windows® Phone 7," said Anthony Antolino, Senior Vice President of DMC Worldwide.

The Copia social eReading platform balances content, community, ecommerce and consumer connections through content such as books, newspapers, magazines and video across popular consumer digital touchpoints such as Web, desktop, multi-touch tablet, eReader, iPhone®/iPad™ and Android™-based smartphones and devices.

"Expression tools such as SketchFlow and Blend have been utilized by VML to further enhance the dynamic Copia experience," said Eric Campbell, VML's Chief Engagement Officer.  "Expression Studio 4 allows our designers to create and preview new features without burdening a specialized technology resource, enabling faster development while utilizing existing tools such as Adobe® Illustrator® and Photoshop®."

"The Copia social eReading experience utilized Expression Studio to propel it to an entirely new level," said Eric Zocher, general manager of Expression at Microsoft Corp. "The use of Expression tools like SketchFlow and Blend has resulted in a cross-platform, immersive user experience that enables greater productivity and creativity among Copia's designers."
