The session will provide attendees with the opportunity to learn through hands-on experience in a highly interactive, fast-paced and challenging workshop based on focused-practice events for test-driven and interactive design.

For the past three years, Haines has helped developers improve their fundamental software design skills through the use of focused-practice events, such as coderetreat. These workshops provide an interactive learning experience through hands-on coding in prescribed, guided exercises in time-boxed sessions. Attendees will be paired with fellow developers and run through at least three guided coding exercises that demonstrate key concepts in emergent design, continuous integration and test-driven development.
