Corey Haines To Lead Hands-On, Agile Pair-Programming Software Coding Day At Agile2012
Popular coding workshop provides developers with opportunity to improve fundamental software design skills at industry's leading conference on Agile development practices
PORTLAND, Ore., June 19, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The Agile Alliance (www.agilealliance.org), a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the advancement of Agile software development principles and practices, today announced that Corey Haines will lead a two-part, one-day technical coding exercise at Agile2012 (www.agile2012.com) that will focus on improving software design skills. The session will provide attendees with the opportunity to learn through hands-on experience in a highly interactive, fast-paced and challenging workshop based on focused-practice events for test-driven and interactive design.

For the past three years, Haines has helped developers improve their fundamental software design skills through the use of focused-practice events, such as coderetreat. He currently specializes in training teams on fundamental development technical practices, including test-driven development and iterative design. These workshops provide an interactive learning experience through hands-on coding in prescribed, guided exercises in time-boxed sessions. Attendees will be paired with fellow developers and run through at least three guided coding exercises that demonstrate key concepts in emergent design, continuous integration and test-driven development.
