Boulevard Hospitality Group debuts its second Cork & Batter location with a Roadhouse twist

SIMI VALLEY, Calif., Feb. 3, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Boulevard Hospitality Group is expanding its Cork & Batter concept with the opening of Cork & Batter Roadhouse in Simi Valley. Following the success of its flagship near SoFi Stadium, this second location brings a roadhouse vibe with Texas-style barbecue led by Chef and Pitmaster Jimmy Weathersbee, live entertainment and unbeatable sports viewing.

With over 25 years of experience, Chef Weathersbee brings Texas-style BBQ inspired by his southern roots. Highlights include the brisket, slow-smoked with a blend of carefully selected woods, the St. Louis ribs served sauce-free so guests can appreciate the meat's natural flavor, and the most beloved dishes from the Cork & Batter Nachos to the Philly Cheesesteak Brisket Sliders.

The star of the show is the Family Platter, created for groups of four or more and features:

• Pulled Pork
• Smoked Chicken
• The Brisket
• 2 Beef Hot Links
• Homestyle sides include Mac N Cheese, BBQ Beans, Potato Salad and his famous Corn Bread

The bar menu features bold cocktails crafted to complement the smoky flavors of the menu, including:

• Frisky Coyote Margarita – jalapeño-infused tequila, prickly pear, and fresh lime
• Grandma's "Special" Tea – a nostalgic mix of vodka, brewed black tea, and lemonade, inspired by Grandma Weathersbee's sun-brewed tea
• Toasted S'more Espresso-tini – vodka, coffee liqueur, cold brew, toasted marshmallow and graham cracker

Boulevard Hospitality Group enlisted Franklin Studios Architecture Corp. to bring Americana to life, blending Route 66 nostalgia with modern industrial flair. The restaurant features vintage signs, Johnny Cash records, and bold bull horns. With rustic cowboy vibes, a lively bar, and a dazzling stage for live performances, it's a true roadhouse experience.
