Corpus Christi-Holy Rosary Principal Singing for Joy Over A+ Bonus Bucks Challenge

PORT CHESTER, N.Y., Feb. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Stop & Shop Supermarket Company has chosen one of its six winners for the A+ Bonus Bucks Program's Principal Challenge from Port Chester, NY.  The winning entry came from Corpus Christi-Holy Rosary Principal, Sr. Karen Dunn.  In order to earn the greater of $1,000 or double her school's point total for the month of November, Sr. Dunn has agreed to perform an original song that she wrote about Stop & Shop at the end of the school day in front of 100 families!  The performance will take place March 2, 2010 in the school parking lot at 2:30pm.

"At first we could not believe it.  Then we all laughed.  This is going to be a hoot," said Sr. Dunn when asked her reaction to being selected as a winner. "What a great way to win $1,000 for our school.  We are all very excited," she stated.  When questioned as to how the money would be spent Sr. Dunn replied, "The money will go towards enhancing the children's curriculum."  Everyone involved with the event from students, to teachers, to parents seems to be very excited for this challenge to take place.
