BALTIMORE, Sept. 9, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Utilities industry veteran Cliff Ramsundar has been announced as sales manager for construction equipment repair and sales company Correlli Incorporated (http://www.correlli.net/); Ramsundar joins a family-owned and operated business that has already achieved great success in Baltimore and surrounding communities.
Ramsundar brings 25 years of experience in the utilities industry to his new role. Previously, he was a Senior Account Executive with Baltimore Gas and Electric (BGE), where he won numerous awards for leadership and sales. His goals for Correlli Incorporated include not only seeing the company grow, but also contributing to an environment where employees can feel successful.
"I've known Pat Correlli and his family for many years; I'm thrilled to be joining a team where mutual respect is a guiding principle," explained Ramsundar. "That respect and dignity inevitably translates to how we treat our customers. We don't consider the sale to be the end of the relationship – we believe in going the extra mile to ensure satisfaction and success."
Correlli Incorporated proudly serves government agencies in Maryland and Delaware, commercial and residential landscaping businesses, and construction companies large and small. The City of Baltimore has long been among the company's most important clients—the government's trust is a testament to Correlli's reliability and customer service orientation.
Terex Environmental Equipment division produces some of the most in-demand equipment at Correlli Incorporated, including a wide assortment of wood chippers and stump cutters. Likewise, a high volume of Correlli's parts sales, repairs and routine maintenance work is in service of contractors and commercial clients using Terex machinery.
Experience is another defining characteristic of Correlli Incorporated's repair and maintenance business. The company's nine skilled technicians have over 250 years of total experience between them. Founder and President Pat Correlli alone has 40 years of industry experience.
As an independent, family-owned and operated business, Correlli Incorporated offers distinct advantages over both large equipment dealers and individual owner-operators. For instance, unlike most large equipment dealers, the company can provide sales and repairs of a much greater variety of product lines, makes and models. A smaller company like Correlli can bring a personal touch to business that's notably missing from most national or multinational operations. Finally, from a cost perspective, Correlli doesn't wrangle with the high overhead of a large equipment dealership and so can pass significant savings to the customer.
Owner-operators may try to compete with Correlli, but they fall short in most regards. The appeal of cheap labor rates is offset by questionable insurance, poor record keeping, and general unreliability. Owner-operators tend to be fly-by-night enterprises; contrast that business model with Correlli Incorporated's fifteen years of success in and around Baltimore, and the advantages of choosing an established player become obvious.
Since its founding 15 years ago, Correlli Incorporated has taken pride in setting a high standard in the heavy equipment sales and repair industry. Cliff Ramsundar brings the knowledge and experience to sustain that high standard well into the future.
