CORSICANA, Texas, April 24, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Corsicana's annual festival event, Derrick Days, will take place Friday, April 27 and Saturday, April 28 in the historic downtown district. Located along Beaton St., marketplace vendors will be set up to offer the best in food and beverages along with entertainment throughout the two-day event. In 2011, Derrick Days drew more than 10,000 attendees, with 85 marketplace vendors, 30 food vendors and more than 80 cook-off teams; this year is expected to be the biggest event yet.
