COSI's Emmy® Award-Winning Animated Series "Dr. B in 3" Returns for Season 4

Science education meets storytelling in a fast-paced, engaging new season that makes complex topics accessible to all.

COLUMBUS, Ohio, March 24, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- The Center of Science and Industry (COSI) today announced the return of its Emmy® Award-winning animated science series, Dr. B in 3, for its fourth season. Hosted by Dr. Frederic Bertley – COSI President & CEO and renowned science communicator – the series delivers engaging, bite-sized science lessons in under five minutes, making science accessible and exciting for learners of all backgrounds.

Since its launch, Dr. B in 3 has captivated audiences with its ability to distill complex science into engaging, easy-to-understand content. With topics spanning the human brain, quantum computing, Generative AI, and the solar system, the series has earned widespread acclaim – including three Emmy® Awards in 2024 for its innovative approach to science education.

Season 4 takes an innovative look at the technology shaping modern life, tackling topics such as the impact of smartphones on human behavior, the science behind digital communication, data privacy concerns, and the environmental effects of tech manufacturing.

With music by the Grammy-nominated Alphabet Rockers and additional production from Elevator Music Worldwide, Dr. B in 3 continues to redefine science education through an engaging, culturally relevant approach that integrates the arts into science, technology, engineering and math education.

As a cornerstone of COSI's STEAM Education Ecosystem, Dr. B in 3 is integrated with COSI's nationally recognized Learning Lunchbox program – an initiative that has provided nearly 400,000 STEAM kits to underserved youth across 40 states and seven countries. Learning Lunchboxes include direct links to Dr. B in 3 videos, and some feature a Digital STEAM Portal – a mobile video player where students can explore Dr. B in 3 episodes alongside hands-on activities, creating an immersive and interactive learning experience.
