NASHVILLE, Tenn., Dec. 11, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Today Grammy-nominated country music star Trace Adkins made a surprise visit to a Country Inns & Suites By Carlson SM hotel in Nashville for an appearance and performance for guests, hotel staff and Wounded Warriors.
While in town for a December 12 performance for The Christmas Show 2014 Tour, Trace joined the Country Inns & Suites hotel staff to help during the busy holiday season. While he was there, he checked in guests from behind the front desk and gave a special holiday performance.

Following Adkins' surprise holiday performance, he joined Country Inns & Suites By Carlson in partnership with the Carlson Family Foundation, to present a $50,000 donation to Wounded Warrior Project® to help fund the organization's Economic Empowerment pillar. The funds will help Wounded Warrior families achieve long-term financial stability through training, education and employment services.
