Covington Strategic Capital Fund Inc. Announces Close of Acquisition by Covington Fund II Inc.

TORONTO, Nov. 18, 2013 /CNW/ - Covington Strategic Capital Fund Inc. (the "Fund") announced today that it has closed the previously announced acquisition of the Fund by Covington Fund II Inc. ("Fund II").  The transaction, which was approved by shareholders at the Fund's Special Meeting held on October 24, 2013, and the Ontario Securities Commission on November 4, 2013, closed Saturday November 16, 2013.
