Cox Communications Launches beIN SPORT

CHESAPEAKE, Va., Dec. 17, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Cox Communications today announced the launch of beIN SPORT, the international sports network. Effective today, Cox customers will be able to enjoy two entirely differentiated channels, beIN SPORT and beIN SPORT en Espanol. Later this month, the TV Everywhere live event broadband service, beIN SPORT PLAY, for authenticated Cox customers will be available.

With beIN SPORT and beIN SPORT en Espanol, Cox customers will have access to exclusive coverage showcasing the world's biggest soccer stars including Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo in La Liga, Andrea Pirlo and Mario Balotelli in Serie A, and Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Radamel Falcao in Ligue 1. The networks also feature CONMEBOL World Cup Qualifying matches, Copa America, the Copa del Rey, the U.K.'s Football League, Six Nations Rugby, tennis, boxing and other international sport competitions.

By logging onto www.beinsportplay.tv, Cox subscribers will gain access not only to the live programming on beIN SPORT's two channels in English and Spanish, but can chose from up to seven simultaneous live games from beIN SPORT's numerous leagues, conferences and sports properties. All programming is televised in HD for TV, and streamed in HD for broadband-connected PCs, mobile tablets and smart phones.  beIN SPORT PLAY's web-responsive platform ensures an ideal viewing experience on any device.
